Located between Montmartre and the Opera, Maison Pigalle is at the crossroads of the most interesting streets of the Rive Droite. On the one hand, the 9th arrondissement is teeming with theatres, cinemas, entertainment venues and department stores all around the Grands Boulevards. On the other hand, the streets leading to Pigalle are packed with lively bars and restaurants where you can experience the bohemian atmosphere of today's chic Paris. Within this district nicknamed So-Pi (for South-Pigalle), the hotel is a short walk from the Musée de la Vie Romantique, which displays memorabilia related to George Sand, and the recently renovated Gustave Moreau Museum, celebrating this symbolist and prolific painter. Just a little further, Place Pigalle is glowing with its multicoloured neon lights, while on the Place Blanche people come to photograph the iconic Moulin Rouge, eternally showcasing the dreamy side of Paris.
